Emergency alert system tested at black mountain in act

A remote mountain area in northern New South Wales has been placed on state emergency alert following the attack.
Emergency services say it was a "preplanned, deliberate attack".
The ACT Police is not confirming whether a number of people were injured in the incident and have yet to confirm the conditions.
A spokesman says the fire has now been extinguished and the smoke and dust that was produced by the attack has cleared.
Firefighters say the area is now safe.
On Tuesday, the ACT Government also sent a clear alert and issued information on "terrorist behaviour at certain locations on the NSW north coast".
A message on the SES website advises residents not to be "at risk" in the area because of the "potential threat to public safety".
A local resident says it's not yet clear if they have been directly affected by the attack.
"We're waiting for confirmation," she said.
"If there are a lot of police on the mountain today, who knows what we're going to find."
She says there have not been any reports of any people being targeted so far.
Fire and rescue crews continue to investigate, however no specific threat is being made to the people that were in the area at the time.

Man dies after being burnt baling hay
The death of a 15-year-old boy at a farmhouse in Dublin was caught on camera by a farmer after the death of his horse.
A witness heard the boy screaming in pain after being attacked with a hammer-like object.

A number of firefighters were on the scene and the farmhouse was sealed off and shut for more than an hour following the fatal incident last Tuesday night.
The farmhouse on its way to an industrial site suffered from extensive smoke and fire damage but no damage was reported to anyone inside, police said.
Fire Chief Ron Campbell confirmed the body of an adult male had been found by emergency services.
He said the body of a child was recovered in a field about two miles away from the farmhouse.
He said the deceased boy's parents, who were not at the farmhouse on the night of the attack, were at the scene and were assisting in the investigation.
"I'd like to point out that there have been no further incidents at this stage," he said.
"There had been one incident, we were told by the parents, this is that incident, on Tuesday but that was closed."
The farm has been closed since the incident. No further arrests have been made and an investigation is underway to establish the identity of the person responsible.
The boy's family said they were disappointed by the news and were keeping him in the care of his maternal grandparents, who also live in Slough.
The incident was later adjourned until May 31.
