Mixed injury news for lions, a black rhinoceros and a mountain lion.
Jaguars
The latest to have suffered a reported injury was the jaguar pictured on Instagram, where it had a huge bump on its head, the MailOnline understands.
The lion was spotted walking in the woods near a gated village in Guarela city, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, the MailOnline can disclose.
Lions in Central Africa will not be seen for months at the moment
A Brazilian conservation group has said the jaguar had injured itself in a brush and therefore could not fight back.
The group, whose members have been visiting with lions at the site, was told by local officials the incident was caused by a 'wild animal attack'.
The jaguar reportedly took a sharp fall when attacking the resident which has left it with a significant injuries, including a black ring on the back of its neck.
The lion is believed to have attacked the area in the early hours of this morning.
The lions were shot by poachers trying to sell exotic animal trophies, and one was apparently shot after it ran off when it was threatened by two lions while on its way to dinner.
The Brazilian Conservation Society (CCS) is concerned about the poor management of the area and has requested the Brazilian Government to declare a state of emergency.
It will also ask the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to provide the lion with a'significant medical fee' in order to help pay for its treatment.
The jaguar is not believed to have killed anyone yet.

Court dismisses attempt to disqualify bushfire risk manager
Posted
The former head of Australia's emergency operations centre has been dismissed from his position after an independent report says he failed to protect the public from bushfires.
Former bushfire risk manager Stephen O'Donnell is the main subject of a scathing report prepared by former Queensland Labor minister David Ward.
Mr O'Donnell was sacked by Labor for allegedly failing to prepare for the Great Western fire in 1992.
Mr Ward said he found Mr O'Donnell's actions "unacceptable".
But the Government's new emergency operations chief, James Williams, said the report was a "political vendetta".
"It doesn't really cover the issues the committee is supposed to be investigating," he said.
Mr O'Donnell says the Government needs to have a national disaster preparedness plan.
"I've been on fire and watched them all die around here," he said.
"They want us to just go ahead and build houses over the bush?"
The review, by independent experts and former firefighters, criticised his failure to prepare for the disaster and to warn local residents.
The report also found the risk management team was "relentlessly distracted" by work and other priorities.
Mr O'Donnell says he had been asked to take his family to the Great Western fire, but he said he did not know the reason for this.

Csu disappointed with equine facilities decision
"We were disappointed with the outcome of the meeting as it was presented to us as an 'all-out ban' on the breeding of horses for horsemeat," Sukhwinder Rana said, adding that since 2006, SSC has been implementing animal protection legislation as per the Convention on the Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) by ensuring an effective implementation of CITES guidelines, which also includes the ban on export and import of horses destined for Asia."
He said in 2010, SSC had given notice for the first time to a member of its Animal Welfare Committee (AWC) to suspend the export licence of an equine facility. It then sent the AWC a draft statement. On July 10, the committee agreed to suspend its sanction of the facility. Sukhwinder Rana said, however, he has yet to hear back from the AWC."We are seeking clarification on the reason why we have received no response from the AWC from this agency," said Sukhwinder Rana who also asked the panel to look into the report issued by SSC about the ban.He further said it appeared the board did not consider all the facts involved. "The question is: Why has SSC not informed us that we may have to sell all our equines at the cost of our horses?" Sukhwinder Rana added.Kamal Meena, national president of IAC, added, "There have been several cases reported, but we feel that this is the first time such an order has been made from the Prime Minister's Office. A statement issued by his office may have been taken up because of an interest in his support to the country, but we feel that SSC did not make a good decision for the welfare of animals.
We, as the government, have to make sure animals live in a safe and healthy environment, and as we believe that India is known as a country for equine welfare, we are very keen for SSC to be seen in a positive light by the environment ministry."

"With his recent absence from the club, there was a question asked about what was the future for him and for the younger players at AFL level.
"He was really keen to extend his stay at the club and I believe that he was willing to extend it beyond his contract.
"So a few weeks after that he's still very much engaged with football and trying to gain better experience. Hopefully he'll stay involved with us throughout the summer."

The Tigers were without senior hooker Jayden Hunt (ankle) and senior defender Luke Brooks (ankle) for the elimination final of the NAB AFL Rising Star Medal at Etihad Stadium in round 18, the same night he was banned for two months by Essendon and the club said that his ankle condition was in a critical state.
There's only one reason the club is keeping Sturt on its list at all: the fact he has been training with the Cats' senior development squad at their AFL program, while also attending meetings with Hawthorn.
"Jayden has been with the senior development squad for the past two weeks, that's all he has," Brown said.
"I am confident he can stay at Hawthorn.
"Luke is a fantastic young player.
"We have a good, young core of players in the group, you can see that with Mitch, who is now at (the club). We have that in place.
"You have a group of mature, committed people who are going to put a lot of hard work into their development.
"As well as them, I'm pleased we are getting their full input so they can work with us and get the most out of it."
